I had a hip reconstruction at Bangor hospital. At all of my appointments before surgery I was always treated well. The staff were all so lovely and wait times were never very long. The surgical team were very good, as were the nursing staff explaining all that they did and answering any questions I had. I have been very happy with the treatment I have had. My follow up appointments have been just as good.

Only a minor op day only on Francon ward-Care was fantastic, food was superb and staff were friendly up for a bit of banter and amongst themselves and with patients in a very lighthearted way. Everyone spoke nicely to each other and I heard no bad language or inappropriate conversations.

I attended Gwynedd hospital on Saturday with a suspected broken ankle. The waiting room was nearly full. I was seen by triage within the hour, assessed by ANP, sent for X-ray, in plaster snd out within 3 1/2 hours. Everyone from reception to discharge was super friendly, kind and efficient. Big shout out to Steven who plastered my leg, he put me at ease, answered any questions and kept us entertained. Lovely hospital.

I have just been discharged after 7 days, I have been an inpatient in many hospitals, but I have to say that Ysbyty Gwynedd was the best hospital I have attended. I actually came through A & E and yes the wait was excessive about 17 hours but given the circumstances of the NHS now it was understandable. Also not all the hospitals fault because once I was being admitted to go to the ward my Covid test came up positive which meant I had to be isolated so this took more time. From the A & E department to the Conwy ward both Drs and Nurses provided excellent care, although they are stretched with the amount of patients I was made to feel the only one there. Very thoughtful and thorough. I do need to say how good the Porters and Domestic staff were to they worked so hard. The food was lovely and a great selection. People in general are always quick to write a negative review but not many take the time to share a positive one. I can not fault anything with my stay there.

Excellent care in the Breast clinic, Oncology (Alaw) ENT and MRI department- all of which I have required in the past 12 months.

I have been referred, by my GP, to St David's outpatients (Gynaecological) department three times this year for an ongoing matter. On each occasion all staff have been excellent both in their clinical competence, interpersonal skills and ability to empathize. I was treated with dignity at all times. The procedure I needed to have was, by it's nature, a painful one and afterwards I unfortunately felt very faint and extremely nauseous. The staff responded very swiftly and their competent treatment soon had me feeling much better, helped along by a cooling fan, glass of water, lovely cup of tea and a biscuit! I was concerned that I was holding up the list for the clinic, but the nurses very kindly reassured me that this was not the case, and were very careful that I did not leave the department until I felt 100% (they also went to reassure my husband in the waiting room as to the reasons for my delay). If I need to attend at any point in the future, I will (whilst not exactly look forward to it!) feel calm and confident about the excellent care I will receive. Thank you

Having had years of experience with Nhs. one issue I had with Ysbyty Gwynedd was the A&E had gone numerous times with chest pain, breathlessness, nausea/vomiting. Also at the time I had an infection and inflammation on my heart. The problem is that Ecg machines Don't always pick up problems, same thing with my uncle who had cancer and it was never picked up. Why when I went with symptoms like that would I be pushed out so quickly...one reasons I feel is because of the amount of patients the nhs has and pressure that it's under. Looking into private healthcare aswell as I feel my experience could have better.

Very efficient. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was triaged within minutes of arriving at A&E and was seen by a minor injuries nurse after a very short wait. People introduced themselves, explained what they were doing and discussed my X-ray , injury and treatment with me. Excellent service, thank you.

my daughter has just had a fantastic experience delivering a baby in the hospital positive excellent care just shocked that with baby a day old she has been asked to drive 26 miles for a postnatal check I know it's difficult in rural areas also with the pressure of covid both mum and baby seem well breast feeding like a dream so far .As a new first time mum packing baby in a car is not ideal but she feels if she says no she will be judged if she does not attend it's a long way on a hot day what a shame just a comment
